    Trewin Restorick was the Founder and CEO of Hubbub UK www.hubbub.org.uk which has twice won ‘Charity of the Year’ for transforming the way environmental messages are communicated by bringing people and organisations together as a force for good. Trewin was recognised as a Global Leader of the Year by the Global Good Awards, in 2021, he won the Business Green ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ and in 2022 voted by peers as the most influential person in the UK’s recycling and resource sector. Trewin is now starting Sizzle www.sizzle.org.uk looking at how to bring organisations together to make is as easy as possible for people to live greener lifestyles.

    Trewin has a track-record of creating successful environmental enterprises including PaperRound a flourishing recycling business and Global Action Plan a long-established environmental charity. These enterprises were created built on experience gathered through roles he filled at Friends of the Earth where he was Director of Fundraising and at Plymouth City Council where he supported the creation of new social enterprises.

    Trewin is a frequent media commentator on environmental issues and was trained by Al Gore as one of his climate change ambassadors. He is currently an environmental advisor to Tetra Pak, the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation and the National Lottery Climate Fund.

  • Jonathan is Sizzle’s newest director and is currently a trustee of a number of environmental and educational charities.

    He has a strong commercial background in strategy, business development and financial roles, covering large UK corporates as well as smaller entrepreneurial start ups/venture capital operations. He enjoys bringing this experience to his social enterprise and charitable roles where he focusses on supporting growth, the senior leadership teams and achieving financial sustainability.

    In the past he has been a trustee of Save the Children and chair of their commercial operations, and more recently chair of Blue Ventures and a director of a large comprehensive school in South London.

  • Viki is Co-Founder and Chair of BritainThinks. 

    Viki is passionate about involving citizens in informed, influential and inspiring debates about the issues that impact on their lives and is well known for her work in this area. 

    Viki is Vice Chair of The Q Community, part of The Health Foundation, a Trustee of The Climate Group and a member of the Government’s Net Zero Building Council.  She was the founding Chair of Hubbub Foundation, and former Vice Chair of The University of Warwick.

  • Simon is a contractor for Sizzle and is the Project Director for the sustainable alternatives to peat campaign. 

    Simon has extensive technical and practical expertise built within the horticultural sector. At Bord na Mona, he successfully removed peat from professional and retail growing media products transforming a composting facility to ensure organics were diverted from landfill and used in horticulture producing over 16M bags of growing media a year.

    At a policy level, Simon has worked with the Renewable Energy Association to develop the latest PAS100 standard and actively contributes to the Growing Media Association. As a FACTs qualified advisor and member of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture, his knowledge and expertise is deeply respected by peers in the industry.

  • Shweta has 24+ work experience in leading iconic brands like Dove, Special K and more recently was Global CMO for evian and Volvic. She led both brands to becoming BCorp and Carbon neutral globally. Shweta also teaches Sustainability Marketing as visiting faculty at Imperial college, London. Originally from Mumbai, Shweta has lived and worked in the UK, US and France.

  • Bob Gordon is Director of the Zero Carbon Forum, an industry collaboration supporting the hospitality sector to reach net zero, together at pace. Previously he has held a range of sustainability positions in different sectors, including roles at Nando's, the British Retail Consortium and the Ethical Investment Research Services. 

    Bob spent four years in Australia, both as Head of Purpose and Sustainability for Nando's Australia, and as Head of Growth for sustainable start-up Goterra, an ag-tech start up using black soldier fly larvae to convert food waste into highly sustainable protein.
